Lwanga and his companions were arrested, tortured, and eventually executed for their refusal to abandon Christianity

1963

On 3rd June, the school opened its doors to the intake of students

1964

St. Charles Lwanga was canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1964, and he is celebrated as a saint and martyr in the Catholic Church.

1965

13th March, the foundation stone was laid by His Excellency The Honorable Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the president of the republic of Kenya
